About You & Credibility

Who are you?

I’m Sharmilaa Saran, a data processing and AI training professional with over 15 years of hands-on experience working with growing teams and founders.

Are you a freelancer or an agency?

I lead a small agency called Precision Partners. I personally oversee the work, and depending on volume, my trained team supports execution.

Why should we trust a small agency?

Small teams benefit from direct communication, faster alignment, and personal accountability. You always know who is handling your work.

Have you worked with companies like ours?

Yes. Most of my work has been with small teams who don’t have dedicated data staff. We usually start by organizing existing files and then support ongoing work.

Where are you based?

We work remotely and support international clients across time zones.

Services & Capabilities

What exactly do you handle?

We handle structured operational support, including:

  • Data entry & data management
  • CRM updates & record management
  • Spreadsheet organization & cleanup
  • Document conversion & formatting
  • Research & structured data tasks

For a detailed breakdown of all services, please visit our Services Page.

What do you NOT do?

We don’t handle strategic consulting, legal work, or highly specialized development tasks. Our focus is execution and support.

Quality & Process

Who checks the work?

We follow a two-level quality check process.

All completed work is thoroughly reviewed by our QC team, followed by supervisor-level spot checks before final submission to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to instructions.

How do you ensure accuracy?

We follow structured workflows, cross-check data, and conduct final reviews before submission.

What if there are errors?

We correct issues promptly and refine the process to avoid repetition.

What is your error rate?

We aim for near-zero errors through review processes. If corrections are required, they are addressed promptly.

Can you match our internal format?

Absolutely. We adapt to your templates, naming conventions, and workflows.

Turnaround & Capacity

What is your typical turnaround time?

Turnaround depends on task size and complexity. Small tasks are often delivered within 24–48 hours. Larger projects are scheduled based on scope.

Can you handle ongoing work?

Yes. Many clients start with a small task and then move to recurring support.

How many hours per week can you allocate?

We allocate hours based on project size. For ongoing clients, we reserve dedicated weekly capacity to ensure consistency.

Can you handle urgent work?

We handle time-sensitive tasks when scheduled in advance. For urgent requests, we confirm availability before committing.

Can you scale if volume increases?

Yes, within reasonable limits. We scale gradually to maintain quality and clear communication.

Data Security & Confidentiality

How do you handle confidential data?

We use limited access, defined workflows, and confidentiality agreements. Only assigned team members handle your data.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, NDAs are welcome.

Will our data be shared?

No. Client data is used only for the assigned task and never reused or shared.

Where is our data stored?

We work within your preferred tools or secure shared folders and follow your data-handling instructions.

Starting The Work

How do we start?

Share your task details. We confirm project scope and rate. An Upwork contract (or Direct Contract) is created, and work begins once activated.

How do you define project scope?

Before starting, we confirm task details, output format, tools involved, timeline, and expected quality level. Clear scope prevents misunderstandings and protects both sides.

Can we do a test task?

Yes. Most clients prefer starting with a small task to validate fit.

How quickly can you start?

Usually within 1–2 business days after agreement.

What do you need from us?

Clear instructions, access to files, and confirmation of expected output format.

Upwork, Contracts & Payments

Why do you prefer Upwork?

We prefer Upwork because it provides:

  • Secure escrow protection for both sides
  • Transparent contracts and milestone tracking
  • Clear time tracking for hourly work
  • Dispute resolution support if ever needed
  • Organized communication in one place

Upwork protects both you and us, which keeps the working relationship professional and secure.

What is an Upwork Direct Contract? (For clients not on Upwork)

An Upwork Direct Contract allows you to work with us through Upwork without posting a public job. Here’s how it works:

  1. You share your email address.
  2. We send you a Direct Contract invitation from Upwork.
  3. You create a simple Upwork client account (if you don’t already have one).
  4. You review and fund the contract (hourly or fixed-price).
  5. Work begins once the contract is active.

Upwork handles escrow (for fixed-price), payment processing, invoicing, and security. It’s simple, private, and fully protected.

What if we don’t prefer Upwork?

At the moment, we prioritize working through Upwork for payment security, transparency, contract clarity, and professional documentation.

However, if you have internal procurement requirements or specific platform preferences, we are open to discussing options depending on project scope and long-term commitment. Our goal is flexibility, while ensuring both sides are protected.

Do we have to be on Upwork?

You do not need an existing Upwork account. If you’re not on Upwork, we can send you a Direct Contract invitation via email. You’ll create a simple client account, and Upwork will handle the contract, payments, and security.

Do I have to pay Upwork to hire you?

Yes. Upwork charges clients a 5% contract initiation fee on the total contract amount. This fee is paid directly to Upwork (not to us) and covers:

  • Secure escrow protection (for fixed-price contracts)
  • Verified payment processing
  • Time tracking for hourly contracts
  • Automated invoicing & transaction records
  • Dispute resolution support
  • Platform-level security and fraud protection

For example, if you fund a $1,000 contract, Upwork may charge a $50 platform fee. While there is a small fee, many clients prefer Upwork because it provides payment protection, documentation, and structured collaboration.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. You can start with a few hours or a small task.

Pricing

What are your rates?

$5–$9 per hour, depending on task complexity and volume.

Why is the rate so low?

Our workflow and team structure allow us to offer affordable support while maintaining quality.

Will the rate change later?

Rates are discussed and agreed upon before starting any task.

Do you charge for revisions?

No, reasonable corrections related to the agreed task are included.

Communication

What time zone do you work in?

We operate in IST but support international clients across time zones with flexible communication windows.

How quickly do you respond?

We typically respond within a few hours during business days.

How will we communicate?

Primarily through Upwork messages. Calls can be scheduled if needed.

Will we talk directly to you?

Yes. You’ll communicate with me directly.

Do you provide daily updates?

Updates are shared based on task size: daily for ongoing work, milestone-based for projects.

Risk & Exit

Why should we choose you instead of hiring in-house?

We provide execution support without recruitment costs, training time, payroll management, or long-term commitments.

What if our needs change?

We adjust scope and workflow as your needs evolve.

What if we are not satisfied?

You can pause or end the contract anytime. We aim for long-term relationships, but there are no forced commitments.

Can we switch from hourly to fixed-price later?

Yes. Contract structure can be adjusted as the workflow stabilizes.

What if we pause work?

That’s fine. We resume when you’re ready.
